I love driving; ever since I passed my test I've enjoyed the freedom it brings, the feeling of being in control of such an amazing piece of engineering. My first car was a very well-worn Vauxhall Corsa, previously driven by my mum and my older brother and now in my younger sister's possession. However, I was always on the lookout for something more. My dream car was an Audi TT, but I presumed with my budget it would be far too costly both to buy and to insure.

Geico / Cavallo Auto Body (Chadds Ford) Repair Experience
My car was in need of repair due to the accident on 01/12/2016.
I had a good experience with Cavallo Auto Body (Chadds Ford) before when I had paint chips repaired, so I decided I would have this repair done there as well.
I dropped the car off on 01/15/2016 and got this rental. I got the car back on 02/17/2016. The repair took a while.
What I missed most about my car was the steering. If you hold the wheel at 9 and 3 or 10 and 2 and you make a 90 degree turn it takes ~180 degrees of turning from a dead stop and ~90 degrees of turning pretty well anywhere above 5-10 MPH. This is so much nicer than all rentals I've driven recently where right and left turns, especially low speed ones, require lots of steering wheel cranking.
These photos were taken with my new circular polarizing filter.

Geico / Autometric Collision Ferndale Repair Experience (Part 2)
Autometric Collision Ferndale took the following pictures for the Gieco insurance adjuster and was finally able to get everything approved.
Geico apparently also put a non-chromed vent cover thing for the front quarter panel.
So, just adding some more pictures.
Also not sure why some are so blurry, but these were taken by Autometric Collision Ferndal.

Geico / Autometric Collision Ferndale Repair Experience (Part 1)
Geico repair experience thus far:
Brought car to adjuster on 03/10/2014 at Tamaroff Collision Center and got a quote.
Dropped
off vehicle with Autometric Collision Ferndale on Monday, 03/17/2014.
Picked up rental car from Enterprise also in Ferndale.
Image of odometer at drop off (more for my records than anything else):

Cagalli Yula (Subaru BRZ) meets Canadian National Railroad Truck (Part 1)
So, my car doesn't even have 1,400 miles on it yet but this is what happened today:
I got off the highway as I normally do, and today there was a Canadian National Railroad (CNRR) Truck there at the intersection of Chrysler Drive and Larned.
As you can see from the following image it goes: left turn lane, straight through lane, second straight through lane, right turn lane at this intersection.
As usual I stopped at the red light. Now, when I came up the exit ramp and decided to pull along side the CNRR truck it did not have a right turn blinker on, so, I figured (as is usual at this intersection) if someone is in the left straight through lane they plan to get onto Jefferson Ave heading East. I was apparently mistaken in this assumption.
First image shows where the two vehicles were at the red light after exiting I-375 (yes I made a diagram using Google Maps and paint).
