As the car will have no air conditioning or much in the way of cooling at all we decided to go with a shirt-based cooling systems. Some systems use ice, and you have no real temperature control and once the ice is gone that is the end of the cooling. Others, more costly, are active.
We went with an active system.

We had a three wedding tour in September. One of the weddings took us to Chicago, IL and while we were there we stopped in at P&L Motorsports to take some pictures of the car.
We visited the shop on a Tuesday morning before our flight to Portland, OR.

After the body work was completed, the interior painted, and the exterior primed the car was picked up by P&L Motorsports for work to continue. They were concerned that with the car only being primed and not painted the primer would be highly susceptible to damage while they finished the car and therefore asked us to have the car painted or wrapped before continuing the work.

Today I got an update from A&L Auto Body. Between the initial assessment and now they had other priority projects to work on.
Another update from P&L Motorsports. While the car body is at A&L Auto Body undergoing body and paint work the engine has been worked on.
It has been a while since I provided an update on parts ordered. So I figured I would provide an list of somewhat recently ordered parts. I think we are getting close to being done with this phase, at least I hope we are.

The car has been dropped off with A&L Auto Body (they do not have a website as far as I can tell). We were looking for an auto body shop to paint the interior, engine bay, roll cage, repair any rust, and then primer the exterior.
Another update from P&L Motorsports. They were working on the suspension fitment and performing an alignment and wanted to lower the car a bit more. What they found is that our JRZ RS Pro coilovers did not have enough space with the bump stop to be lower the car as far as needed.
