Thus far I have not posted much from out autocross exploits. Mainly, it usually is not all that exciting. But, when we went to the Boston BMW SCCA Autocross Novice School I had a big spin.
One of our fellow participants captured it and sent it to us and said I could share!
Car was okay as far as we can tell so far. We drove it the rest of the day, did our timed laps, and seemed to have no issues.
Holly was faster than me on her timed laps that day (09/26/2021).
The only other autocross we did this season is Boston BMW SCCA Autocross Points Event 8 on 10/17/2021. It was a significantly less exciting day. Aside from us clipping a few cones we had no spins or even DNFs.
This time I beat Holly for the fastest speed. We still both have a lot of room to improve. I was car # 486 and Holly was # 748.
This is all for us this season because of other commitments.
We had a lot of fun.
Also, the magnetic numbers we bought are so much better than using tape. We love them!
looks like a fun time overall, but not the losing control part.
