We decided to follow up our midnight parking garage photo shoot with a daytime one. Recap: C-Quartz reapplication after two years by Arlington Auto Detailing, car super clean, and we decided to take some photos.
Because we had bright sunlight I decided to do these photos in a different way. For the majority of the photos I took them fixed at 100 ISO and then overexposed, at middle white balance, and underexposed.
Lens used,
EF-S 10-22mm | f/9.0 | ISO 100 | 1/15 | overexposed 2 stops
Equipment recap:
Camera body: Canon Rebel T2i (also known as the 550D)
Lens 1: Canon Ultra-Wide Zoom EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM always with B+W 77mm XS-Pro Kaesemann Circular Polarizer MRC-Nano Filter
Lens 2: Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM always with Calumet 58mm Circular Polarizer Multi-coated Filter
Werner 3-Step Foldable Step Stool instead of the tripod I do not have.

For the photo above and all the ones using the EF 50mm below I switched
from using the top step of the step stool to using the second one in
order to get a better angle on the car.
The 50mm (effective 80mm because of 1.6x crop from Canon Rebel T2i ASP-C sensor) brings you in real close to the car and loses a lot of context around it.
EF 50mm | f/9.0 | ISO 100 | 1/50
EF 50mm | f/9.0 | ISO 100 | 1/60 | overexposed 1 stop

EF-S 10-22mm | f/9.0 | ISO 100 | 1/200 | underexposed 1 stop
We then tried to get some images with the trees in the background to varying degrees of success.

EF-S 10-22mm | f/9.0 | ISO 100 | 1/80

Additional regarding the photos:
I did not do much in the way of post processing on this. Some
of these I white balanced, many of them I did not. There is a lot more
that could be done with these in terms of post processing.
If you like any of what you see but would like a copy without the
watermark, let me know. I am happy to provide copies of the RAW files or
the converted JPEGs sans copyright (though if you are publicly posting I
would appreciate attribution). Just leave a comment below.
