The car has been dropped off with A&L Auto Body (they do not have a website as far as I can tell). We were looking for an auto body shop to paint the interior, engine bay, roll cage, repair any rust, and then primer the exterior.
A&L Auto Body was recommended to us by Olsen Motorsports as they have had many customers satisfactorily work with them in the past. P&L Motorsports did not have a body shop they recommended at this time. The first thing to be done was a more thorough assessment of the car. Up until this point A&L Auto Body had only been able to provide an estimate of the work to be done without seeing the car in person. So we knew we would need to adjust depending on the severity of the rust.Unfortunately there was a prior repair that had not been done well and there is some rust in the driver side rear wheel well.
Fortunately this seems to be the worst of it so far, the the body does have a lot of dents and dings (it is a 27 year old car that was not particularly well cared for by its prior owner).
Hopefully I will have more images to update with as the car gets worked on.
