Ceras Victoria (Honda Prelude), Tail Light Swap

As seen earlier, post crash Ceras Victoria had some damage to the tail light.

Now, even with that damage I'd been driving around Miami for half a year and had no issues.
But upon moving back to IL for law school I got pulled over one summer night for having "white light show through."

I needed a repair.
Lucking the tail light on Nausicaa (car is not road going currently) was in great shape.

I removed this tail light, and the next picture shows what a proper tail light mount looks like when it is not all smashed up.

Now come the fun parts.

This is a before shot of what Ceras Victoria's tail light mount looked like.

As you can see none of the holes line up and the fourth hole (on the bottom right) is nowhere to be seen.

After some hammering...
And some cutting...
And more hammering...

These are the tools used for the repair.

First shot of the finished work.

And the second shot of the completed work.

I should have taken a shot from the other angle to show how the fourth tab (bottom right) stick out from the car and is on the opposite side of the rear quarter where it should be (it is on the outside).

The repair took maybe an hour.

The busted up tail light was put on Nausicaa and taped heavily so that water does not leak into the car.
